License by State exists because the answer to “does my license transfer?” is scattered across fifty board websites, buried in board minutes and PDF agreements, and usually summarised wrong by whoever is trying to sell you a course.

We assemble the actual rule for every state pair, per trade and level, cite the source, and record when we last checked. We would rather show a gap than guess: states we have not documented yet say so.
